A brief history on Nikola Tesla
Mr. Charles Batchelor wrote a letter of recommendation to Edison stating- “I know two great men and you are one of them; the other is this young man.” Some called him a ‘Mad Scientist’ other called him an ‘Electrical Wizard’. But behind the curtain he is one of the unacknowledged inventor who used to dream future and then ‘practically’ invent them in his laboratory. Yes, he was Nikola Tesla. He was born on 10 July 1856 in Austria (present day Croatia). It is said that he was born late night when thunderstorm roar in the sky than at that moment his mother claimed that he will be the child of light. The childhood of this genius was not something extraordinary. He was a fun loving kid but usually fall sick. In his book “My Invention” he had mentioned many of his childhood exploration. His brother, Dane Tesla whom he consider to be an extraordinary gifted, died when Tesla was seven years old.
