The fallen heroes

The fallen heroes

I kneels beside a name engraved,

A comrade lost, a life so brave.

To lays a flower, a token of love,

A tribute to the soldier now above.

Each marker tells a story untold,

Of bravery, sacrifice, and hearts so bold.

A tear escapes, a silent vow,

To remember forever and honor to show.

For though the soldier's duty is done,

His memory lives on, like the morning sun.

They stood for us, against the tide,

With valor and courage, side by side.

Let us not forget the sacrifice they made,

For the freedoms we enjoy, the life we head.

So raise a glass, salute the brave,

Whose final resting place is a hero's grave.

For in our hearts, their flame still burns,

Their legacy our lesson, forever learned.
